THE EDITORIAL

Dear authors and readers of our journal! The June issue of the journal anniversary (tenth) year contains diverse articles covering both methodological and applied aspects of lifelong education in the modern world.

In the philosophical and pedagogical perspective, the prospects for the development of the theory and practice of implementing the trends of differentiation and integration in education are shown. In one of the articles, a transdisciplinary approach in the environmental education of future teachers is theoretically substantiated based on the use of the potential of the cultural landscape; the possibility of using the data of theoretical analysis for the design and implementation of a transdisciplinary module for studying the cultural landscape by students is shown.

In the section «Innovative Approaches to the Organization of Lifelong Education» the discussion of active and interactive learning continues. The publication of specialists in the field of tourism education is related to the methodological issues of organizing project activities. Another study draws the attention of readers to the heuristic approach in education: it presents the results of scientific work related to the substantiation of the essence of the heuristic game, the development of a methodology for its implementation in the environmental and pedagogical education of students and in the environmental education of schoolchildren, with an analysis of the results of experimental work.

In the June issue of the journal, the section «Management of education in an open global society» turned out to be rich. It contains two articles by foreign authors: Our foreign colleagues presented the results of a comparative analysis of the reforms of educational programs in the Czech and Slovak Republics, a graduate student from Vietnam ‒ the results of the introduction of a credit system of education in journalism education in Vietnam. The publications of Russian authors are devoted to the assessment of the subject and methodological competencies of future teachers and the peculiarities of the organization of teamwork in a general educational organization.

Specialists in the field of environmental education may benefit from an article by a Chinese PhD student. The publication reveals the environmental component in the system of lifelong education in China, and provides comparative data with Russian education.

Our Czech colleagues continue to acquaint our readers with the peculiarities of training future teachers of various majors. This time the authors present the experience of kindergarten teachers working with children brought up in foster families.

We draw the attention of potential authors to the fact that the next issue (September) is planned to be thematic, dedicated to the problem of academic writing. In addition, we suggest that you comply with the requirements of the editorial board on the subject of articles and their design.

We wish all our authors and readers every success in the implementation of creative ideas in the field of continuing education, as well as a good summer vacation.
