Heutagogy is defined as a modern concept of self-determined learning with the emphasis on adults who are able to consciously manage their own learning. Heutagogy emerged as a response to the rapidly changing world, information explosion, changing structure of workplaces, labour market reduction, and the requirement for economically active population to demonstrate a high level of social, labour, and educational mobility.
