Abstract: The article is devoted to the vital problem of positive psychology implementation into the system of continuous professional education. Scientific interpretations of continuous professional education within the frames of philosophy, pedagogy, and psychology are discussed. Basic components of continuous education are revealed. The modern concept of continuous professional education as a system and its main properties are described. It is noted that the system of continuous professional education is to provide both vertical and horizontal education mobility. The main strategic factor for continuous professional education is a personality; consequently, continuous education must be turned into the support system for permanent self-development. To pursue this goal, it is necessary to create specific educational programs. The article describes educational programs, providing for content continuity of educational activities within the frames of positive psychology. In the article the theoretical foundations, methodological components, and psychological studies of the results of implementation of educational module «Vital Navigation» having been used within the system of continuous professional education are presented. |
