Abstract: this article analyzes pedagogical research on various aspects of the phenomenon of «professional patriotism», and proposes an interpretation of the concept of «professional patriotism of schoolchildren» as an integrative personal formation that manifests itself in a conscious value-based attitude towards serving society through future professional activities, the acceptance of professional and moral norms, and the readiness for socially significant work and responsibility for its results. The relevance of studying this issue is emphasized, determined by the shortage of personnel in the labor market, the growing need for working professions and mid-level specialists, and the characteristics of the younger generation, which requires a shift from passive information to active practical involvement in activities, providing opportunities for independent choice, project work, and the development of practical skills. The article discusses approaches to defining the educational potential of children's health camps and identifies its specific features in a departmental camp that promotes the corporate or professional values of the founding enterprise. The article reveals the process of synergy between professional orientation and patriotism in a departmental camp, which is expressed in the formation of the foundations of professional patriotism among schoolchildren. The article also describes the possibilities of integrating the software, corporate, and project-based resources of a departmental camp to form the foundations of professional patriotism among schoolchildren. In this article, we explore the specific features and effectiveness of the Zarnitsa departmental camp in addressing the pedagogical challenge of forming the foundations of professional patriotism among schoolchildren in a specialized children's health camp that is a structural unit of an enterprise. The article concludes that it is necessary to provide a scientific basis and build a model for actualizing the educational potential of a departmental camp in order to transfer innovative practices for forming the foundations of professional patriotism among schoolchildren.
