Abstract: the rapid development of modern technologies has opened wide opportunities for the realization of individual training in Russian language with a native speaker teacher without taking a break from the main activity and moving to Russia. However, in modern methodological science the problems of organization of individual form of learning in the framework of non-formal education remain insufficiently developed. The scientific novelty lies in the study of the individual form of teaching Russian as a foreign language in the context of non-formal education and modern digital technologies that provide the opportunity to implement a flexible educational program focused on the personal and individual characteristics of learners. The aim of the study is to determine the features and opportunities for the realization of an individual form of teaching Russian as a foreign language in the framework of non-formal education in the digital environment. Methods: analysis of scientific and methodological literature, analysis of existing digital technologies, generalization of pedagogical experience of teaching Russian as a foreign language. The study determined the com-position and motives of teaching foreign students-individuals. It is established that when implementing an individual form of teaching Russian as a foreign language in the framework of non-formal education, communicative and personality-oriented approaches become the leading ones, the main principle is the principle of individualization, based on the consideration of personal (with their leading role), subjective and individual properties of the learner. The components of learning in the online space and available digital technologies necessary for the effective implementation of a flexible training program are highlighted.
