Abstract: the implementation of the innovative model of Vietnam development is impossible without creating a system of professional training for social workers. However, today there are no modern approaches in the training of social workers in Vietnam focused on the organization and training for the social sphere. The purpose of this study was to study the review on using technology in teaching social work sector in Vietnamese universities today. The review study shows the common concept, object, and types of technology used when teaching this sector in the Universities of Vietnam. The article also describes the four main functions of technology in teaching social workers helping to improve the quality of teaching in this educational sector in order to meet the needs of modern society.
