    Ekaterina Alexandrovna Maralova passed away on June19, 2017, not even reached 67 years. She is the holder of Doctorate Degree, Full Professor of Novgorod Regional Institute of Professional Development, a member of the editorial board of our journal. Numerous colleagues and friends fromRussia,Belarus, theUkraine,Bulgaria,Czechia,Slovakia,Kazakhstan,Uzbekistanremember Ekaterina Alexandrovna as a kind and pleasant person, competent specialist, thoughtful and creative scholar.  

     Ekaterina Alexandrovna had been actively working in the field of lifelong learning both as a theoretician and practitioner for many years. As a pedagogue-psychologist she rendered assistance to children needing support. Ekaterina Alexandrovna worked in the area of personal-centered therapy and fairytale therapy. Being a professor of the Chair of Psychology and Correctional Pedagogy, she researched psycho-therapeutic effects of postgraduate education in pedagogy, conducted webinars for school teachers, authorial seminars for teachers and university professors in different regions of our country and helped the parents in psychological-pedagogical on-line guidance on the problems of family upbringing.    

      Professor E. Maralova is the author of more than 300 scientific publications including 3 monographs and 26 study and methodological guides. On numerous occasions she was awarded with Certificate of Honor by the Committee of Novgorod Oblast Education giving her credit for hard work in the field of correctional and professional education development. She was awarded with the lapel badge “Honorary Worker of General Education of theRussian Federation" for her contribution into development of Russian pedagogical science and practice. Professor E. Maralova was a member of Association of Professors for Slavic countries based on theUniversityofSofia (St. Kliment Ohridski). Together with the colleagues from other countries she conducted a number of research based on authorial methodology studying the effects of additional professional education, founded on the reconstruction of psychological status in the process of androgenic interactions. The results often called for international debates....

    Since the foundation of the journal “Lifelong Learnig: XX century” in 2013 Ekaterina Alexandrovna actively and with great interest participated in the journal editorial board as a highly qualified reviewer and author…
