Abstract: under the conditions of informatization of the process of modern education there is a need for the development and productive use of information educational resources. The article is focused on the problem of assessing the effectiveness of the use of on-line educational module in teaching psychology at the University. The web-based educational module is a kind of electronic educational resources and is viewed as a means of interactive e-learning, which is used for the remote support of the educational process alongside with the use of the Internet resources. The didactic possibilities of online learning ensure the intensification of training activities for students and create new ways of interaction between the subjects of educational process. The article analyzes the experience of using on-line educational module «Psychology», based on the Blackboard platform as a means for distance learning support. The survey was used for measuring the effectiveness of educational technology. The results of the survey showed the students' attitudes toward e-learning and revealed the strengths and weaknesses of the educational module. The outcome of the research may be useful for teachers of higher and secondary professional educational institutions.
