The spring issue of the journal focuses on discussing various theoretical-methodological and scientific-methodical problems of the lifelong learning innovative development.
In the theoretical-methodological section of the journal, the discussion of significant problems for lifelong learning continues. One of the articles draws readers' attention to the need to resolve the contradiction between historical knowledge and historical memory in the process of history education. The problem of pedagogical violence, which really exists but whose prevalence, characteristics, and ways of overcoming it have not been sufficiently studied, is also relevant for different levels of education. Another problem is related to the improvement of unified approaches to the structure and content of higher pedagogical education.
The digitalization of the educational sphere as a response to the corresponding challenges of our time is an important area of modern research. The articles in this issue raise a number of problems, namely: an integrated approach to ensuring media safety in the educational environment of a university; the use of generative artificial intelligence in teaching physics to IT bachelor's students; and the use of digital tools in the development of cultural intelligence and foreign language communicative skills of international relations students.
Another problem relevant to pedagogical theory and practice is related to the issues of spiritual and moral education of the younger generation in the modern education system and the corresponding training of teaching staff. In this regard, the interest of educators in studying the results of domestic research and successful practices in the implementation of moral education is understandable. The authors of the articles in this issue turn to the works of K. D. Ushinsky, V. A. Sukhomlinsky, experimental teachers, and interpret the achievements of pedagogical theory and practice of the Soviet era in relation to today's realities.
A number of materials are devoted to pedagogical innovations at different levels of the lifelong learning system. The innovations proposed by the authors can be transferred to solve other problems. Thus, the idea of developing slow reading skills in philology students is applicable to working not only with literary texts, but also with educational and scientific texts. The technology of intensive teaching of written foreign language communication in the economic sphere can also find wider application.
The readiness of professional education organizations graduates does not always meet the labor market requirements. Resolving this contradiction is another pressing pedagogical problem. In one of the articles in this issue, the authors focus on studying the readiness of secondary vocational education graduates for entrepreneurial activity, and in another, on the study of ways to develop the readiness of future engineers for technological partnership in the oil and gas complex.
We wish you an interesting and useful reading and invite you to further discuss current problems of lifelong learning. Our publication welcomes articles devoted to theoretical and methodological problems and the lexicon of lifelong learning, analysis of domestic and foreign experience in organizing lifelong learning, and solving problems common to different levels of the education system.
